Staying Informed and Up-To-Date

We are proud and appreciative of the work, dedication and care that our frontline colleagues, essential workers, healthcare teams and others have performed to confront SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19. This includes our communities that we serve who have done all they can and sacrificed so much during this challenging time. Since the first warning of this outbreak was communicated by the World Health Organization, our office began to expand on our already diligent efforts for infection control and to ensure our wonderful staff and patients are comfortable and safe. We are receiving daily communications from numerous organizations including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS), American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) as well as our local affiliated hospitals to help guide our efforts. The health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority and we are dedicated to implementing measures to prevent transmission.

What we are doing:
Our office is designed to minimize all touch surfaces and is equipped with hands-free arm-pulls on all possible interior doors, paper-towel dispensers to provide a barrier to avoid touching surfaces, stanchions to create physical distancing, installation of large sneeze guard panels, automatic touch-less hand sanitizers in every single room and hallway, motion sensor water and soap dispensers and more. We continue to fully sanitize every room, surface and pathway before, during and after each office visit.

Additionally, every single patient room has a dedicated separate HEPA Filter Air Purifier with UV Light Sanitizer for your safety.

Active Screening:
All patients will be thoroughly screened prior to their appointments and upon arrival at our office. This will include a series of questions and a contactless temperature measurement. All patients and staff must sanitize their hands before entering our office and wear a mask prior to entering the office and during their entire visit if possible.

Limiting Occupancy:
We love meeting and talking with our patient’s families; however, to minimize occupancy and maximize social physical distancing we now have a No Visitor Policy. At this time we are only allowing patients to enter our office, unless they require a licensed heath care aide or Power of Attorney. Anyone traveling with a patient is advised to stay in the car or drop-off and pick-up.

Physical Distancing:
Our schedule has been dramatically changed so that there should be no waiting in our Reception Room. Patients will always have a private dedicated sanitized room ready for them prior to arrival and for their entire visit.

Staying Connected:
All surgery patients will receive Dr. Goulder’s cell phone number. Additionally, we are proud to implement synchronous audiovisual TeleHealth appointments. Our dedicated staff will help you download our app to permit a live, secure, insurance recognized, HIPAA compliant video-conferencing platform Telemedicine appointment. These TeleHealth appointments are a great means of conducting postoperative visits and wound checks. Once we receive your email address, we will email you a link to the PocketPatient app. You may also download the free app, PocketPatient, from your app store.

Sunscreens and Skin Care:
For those patients looking for their favorite sunscreens and skincare products, but smartly staying home, we offer an online option so that you can stay home, stay safe and stay protected. Click on the SHOP tab above to browse or purchase products!

We will always continue to receive frequent communication from our healthcare organizations and make further adjustments to our action plan if and when necessary. The health and well-being of our patients, team, and community are of utmost importance to us and we will continue to do all we can to safely navigate the road ahead.

Procedures & Treatments

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in America, one that requires expert treatment. Dr. Goulder is a leading expert in Mohs surgery, the gold standard in skin cancer treatment for non-Melanoma skin cancers (basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and other less common skin cancers) on the head and neck as well as larger more aggressive tumors elsewhere on the body.

Laser treatments can be of significant use in improving the aesthetic outcome of new or older scars. These same light based devices are also used to soften the signs of aging skin. Newer devices and state-of-the-art technology can also be used to decrease your risk of future skin cancers and improve the health and beauty of your skin.
